ObjectiveEd was formed by a group of experienced technology executives and investors who have both professional experience in special education technology and personal commitments to advancing the education of struggling students.
Our team's prior successes include eSped, Inc. and Blindfold Games. eSped, founded in 2000, provided comprehensive solutions for the management and regulatory reporting requirements of Special Student Populations under IDEA, ESL/ELL, RTI, Section 504, and other federal regulations — serving over 1,000 school districts and 500,000 students in six states.
ObjectiveEd has won competitive grants from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Education, the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), and Microsoft.
We were selected as first place winner in the EdTechX Startup competition. For BuddyBooks: Tech & Learning Award of Excellence, QS Reimagine Education Bronze for AI in Education, and EdTechX Breakthrough Award for Reading Solution of the Year.
For our BLV Steps curriculum: the Louis Braille Touch of Genius Award from the National Braille Press, the American Council of the Blind Annual Award, and the Florida AER Innovator of the Year.
